How to change a wax filer/waxguard (Widex / Phonak / Unitron)

How to pair iPhone direct hearing aids with an iPhone

Works for: Oticon, Widex, ReSound, Signia, and Starkey

Tips:

1) Make sure your last set of hearing aids has been "forgotten" before you pair your new ones.

2) If your hearing aids are not found, you will need to put them back in the charger, turn Bluetooth off and on again, take the aids out of the charger and place them on your phone.

3) If they are still not found, you will need to check to make sure your iPhone model is compatible with your hearing aid model.

4) Remember, Widex will have your model name in the app name (ex., Allure, Moment, Magnify, etc).

ReSound = Smart 3D               Unitron = MyRemote            Oticon = Companion

Note: For Android users, you just need to check the manufacturers compatibility guides online. If your aids are compatible with  your phone, once you download the correct app, turn your aids off and back on and the app will discover them. The app will then prompt you to connect your aids with your phone's Bluetooth.
