FAQ.
Welcome to our FAQ page. Here you will find answers to the most common questions about our audiological practice. If you have any additional questions, feel free to contact us.
Hear New Mexico specializes in fully non-wireless, non-transmitting hearing solutions for clearance holders at Los Alamos National Laboratory (LANL), Sandia National Laboratories (SNL), Kirtland AFB, and other DoD and DOE secure facilities.
Our clinical team directly assisted Los Alamos National Laboratory in creating its original approved-device protocols and authorized product list when the non-wireless requirement was first implemented. We continue to stay current with evolving LANL, SNL, and DoD/DoE policies by regularly reviewing the latest publicly released directives, facility-specific guidance, and updated approved-device lists.
Because we helped shape the original LANL process and actively track ongoing changes, we know exactly which hearing aids, cochlear implant processors, and bone-conduction systems are accepted today—no trial and error, no delays in documentation.
If your clearance requires nonwireless devices, we already have the correct, up-to-date models and the precise paperwork your facility expects.
